　　Kal Penn与Matt Murray执笔的NBC单镜头喜剧《晨边社区 Sunnyside》讲述Garrett Shah（Kal Penn饰）当选纽约市最年轻议员后没有把精力投放在选民身上，反而在政治及权力上逃失了自我，后来他在公众醉酒闹事并被拍下来，因此断送了事业生涯。Garrett与妹妹Mallory对这一切只感到崩溃，直至主角遇上一群追求美国梦的新移民时，他感觉到帮助他们是自己的新使命及救赎。
