　　奥斯卡获奖电影《Crash》（撞车）今年将被Starz频道拍成电视剧，这也是该电视频道建立以来第一部原创情节类电视剧。Starz是一个以播放电影为主的频道，类似于国内的电影频道。据称，除了缔造者David Cronenberg之外，原《Crash》电影的大部分幕后制作人员－－包括编剧、导演兼制片人Paul Haggis，制片人Bobby Moresco、Bob Yari、Don Cheadle、Mark R. Harris及执行制片人Tom Nunan在内－－都将参与剧集的制作。

　　据悉，该片的叙事方式将和电影版本如出一辙，但是不会有任何一个电影版的角色出现在电视剧版中。也就是说，电视剧版从角色到情节都是全新的。

　　该剧5月初开机拍摄。

　　《Crash》最初是当作一部电视剧来构思的，只是因为种种原因未能如愿。想不到初始剧本被改写成电影剧本后，反而取得了巨大成功。如今《Crash》重回小屏幕，势必成为2008年新剧中的亮点，也将成为2009年艾美奖的热门候选。不过，尽管剧本的改编难度不大，但要网罗电影版中那样庞大的全明星阵容，是不可能的事。此外，电视剧不可能只关注 "种族矛盾" 这一个话题，还有庞大而繁杂的情节线需要编剧来慢慢梳理。

　　该剧剧本最初被提交给FX电视台，但FX刚刚续订了《Dirt》、《The Riches》和《Damages》三部招牌剧，因此否掉了《Crash》的拍摄计划。

　　好莱坞各大电视网大多数普通剧集的平均花费大约为250万美元／集，Starz自称 "绝对不会低于这个预算"。

　　负责改编和拍摄该剧的狮门公司对该剧充满了信心。
