一项科学实验出现差错，导致一对少女好友Cyd（Landry Bender）和Shelby（Lauren Taylor）获得时间旅行能力……只是她们目前无法完全控制这种能力。有时她们「旅行」的目的地是他们想去的，有时则是完全出乎意料的。两人决定修正过去的一些错误，同时好好看看未来的模样。在此过程中，她们经历了友情的各种考验。与此同时，年轻科学家Barry（Gus Kamp）和他最信任的助手Naldo（Ricky Garcia）试图弄懂她们时间旅行的原理，从而「复制」她们的时间旅行能力。Cyd和Shelby必须利用新发现的能力处理好高中学习和生活的关系，同时应对Shelby那两个淘气的双胞胎兄弟Bret和Chet（Cole和Matthew Lewis Royer）的「干扰」。

在首集中，Cyd和Shelby这对死党打算利用时间旅行能力修正Shelby在爱情中所犯的错误，从而让她心仪的Cameron能和她一起参加校园舞会。
