　　在电影开始开篇，场景好像被设置在一片大森林中。在森林内, 一声强力的呼救被一个叫Yukinari的男孩听到了。Yukinari是一个在残酷社会中比较天真的男孩，但这次经历对他来说是可能使他终身受益。
　　当他进入森林的时候,他遇见一个叫Mika的少女。Mika大概是森林的监护人, 而且与 Celebi（雪拉比）很要好。一些伐木工人给这里带来了麻烦，Yukinari将帮助Mika摆脱这些伐木者。这时Mika向Yukinari解释了森林现在存在的危险，以及他们必须在有限的时间内寻找她所需要的某个答案。突然，雪比拉出现了，将他们带入了40年后的时代。
　　在那里，他们遇见了我们的英雄（主角）Ash，Misty和Brock。而且，好像Ash和Yukinari还有某种血缘关系。与此同时，火箭队的成员之一Bisashu也在积极的寻找着雪比拉。这个男人带着一个金属头盔站在黑色的悬崖一角露出一种怪异的眼神。
　　Ash and Yukinari开始主动的与Bisashu战斗，来保护雪拉比。突然，神秘的口袋怪兽Suicune出现了。据说这只神奇的妖怪具有可怕的能力......
