　　雪莉（洛雷塔·迪万恩 Loretta Devine 饰）早年间被丈夫抛弃，丈夫留给了她六个孩子，坚强的雪莉将孩子们抚养长大，却发现已经长大成人的孩子们似乎并不领她的情。如今，孩子们似乎约好了一般的纷纷回到了她的身边，但雪莉知道，这背后的原因并不单纯。
