◎简　　介

　　纽约的缉毒特别行动队有着“城市王子”的美誉，但行动队的成员却接受黑社会贩毒集团的贿赂。作为一名出色的缉毒警探，目睹了这一切丑恶现象的丹尼内心十分沉痛，遂向联邦政府提供了有关警务人员受贿的材料证明。但丹尼自己却被牵扯进接下来的对受贿案件的一系列调查中。由于他的告密，这种行为不仅给自己和妻儿的生命带来了威胁，且连累了同他一起抗争的好朋友，他陷入了进退两难的境地中。最后，在各种压力的压迫下，他只得在法庭上作了假证，使自己成了受害人，受到了法律的制裁。
